The Ragdoll cat is a large, blue-eyed, pointed breed with medium to long, rabbit-like fur. The Traditional point colors are Blue and Seal, although Lilac and Chocolate are also accepted colors for the "Traditional" Ragdoll. Ragdolls come in three coat patterns, Pointed (no white), Mitted (white feet, chin and bib), and Bicolor (white legs and inverted white V on face). These cats are low shedding, and have a high resistance to mats.

Rags adjust wonderfully to any type of home, whether a small apartment or large, busy home. They love attention and will not fare well in a home where they are left alone for long periods. Rags love to follow you from room to room, and have friendly, laid back temperaments. They are very tolerant of children and get along great with most other members of the non-cat family.

In my opinion, Ragdolls are, indeed, the "purrfect" breed.
